Railway

Introduction
Modern rail vehicles rely on complex systems managed by intelligent controllers. The proper functioning of these systems depends on both mechanical and electrical design. Much like the human nervous system, these harnesses form an extensive network of cables that passengers rarely notice – yet they are essential for safe and reliable operation.
This is where our role begins. Whether it’s electrical schematics, cable routing design, mechanical construction or system integration at the level of the entire vehicle – our goal is not only to make complex systems work, but to ensure they work reliably in real-world conditions.
What sets us apart is the way we transfer proven methods from one industry to another. We use tools, processes and lessons learned in fast-paced automotive projects and apply them to the rail sector – helping OEMs modernize development processes, raise documentation standards and detect potential issues at an early stage.
To deliver projects of this complexity, professional project management is key – built on best practices that apply across industries. In this area, our extensive experience is a clear advantage.
What is railway engineering?
Railway engineering focuses on the design, development and maintenance of rolling stock (trains, trams) as well as the systems that support their operation. This includes, among others, drive and braking systems, suspension systems, electrical installations powering onboard equipment, mechanical structures and simulations. A well-designed rail vehicle requires advanced engineering work to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
One of the critical structural elements of every vehicle is the electrical harness, which plays a key role in transmitting and distributing power as well as ensuring proper communication between control units.
What we do
We primarily carry out projects related to rolling stock for both the railway and tram industries. Our main areas of competence include mechanical design, electrical harness design (conceptual and electrical schematics as well as assembly drawings), simulations, project management and production support. Another area of our work is the integration of new systems, such as the implementation of the ETCS/ERTMS system.
How can you benefit?
- Faster project execution through our expertise in CAD tools, simulation and documentation
- Reduced development risk through early detection of issues via virtual validation
- Stronger compliance with industry standards – from EN norms to customer-specific guidelines
- More efficient collaboration – we can directly join your team and take responsibility for specific areas of the vehicle
- Better design reuse and documentation consistency across vehicle platforms
